Dr. Malik completed his surgical training at the University of Saskatchewan along with a Master of Science in 2008. He went on to complete a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the Centre of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery, McMaster University, Hamilton, ON in 2009. Currently, he is working in Victoria, BC.
